SERVICES
Welcome to St. Thomas Jacobite Church, Calgary, where we come together in faith, prayer, and fellowship. Our church offers a range of spiritual services and programs to help our congregation grow in Christ and stay connected to our rich Jacobite traditions.
Holy Qurbana (Holy Eucharist)
We celebrate the Holy Qurbana every Saturday at 9:30 AM, following the rich liturgical traditions of the Syriac Orthodox Church. The service includes prayers, hymns, and scripture readings, culminating in the Holy Communion. All are invited to join in worship and receive spiritual blessings.

Sunday School
Our Sunday School program is conducted every Saturday after Holy Qurbana. Designed for children and youth, Sunday School helps nurture faith, biblical knowledge, and spiritual values through interactive lessons, songs, and activities.
Prayer Meetings
We hold regular prayer meetings in different locations, bringing families together for prayer, Bible study, and fellowship. These gatherings provide an opportunity to strengthen faith and build a supportive community.

Feast Celebrations
We commemorate the feasts of saints and special occasions in the Jacobite calendar with great devotion. Major feast celebrations include the Parumala Thirumeni Perunnal, St. Mary’s Feast, and Passion Week services. These events are observed with special prayers, processions, and spiritual gatherings.

Confession and Spiritual Guidance
The church offers the sacrament of Confession for those seeking spiritual renewal. Our vicar is also available for spiritual counseling and guidance, offering support to individuals and families.

Charitable Activities
As a community rooted in faith, we actively engage in charitable initiatives, supporting those in need through fundraising, food drives, and outreach programs. We welcome volunteers and contributions to help make a difference.
We invite you to be a part of our spiritual journey and experience the grace of God through worship, fellowship, and service. May the Lord bless you and your family abundantly!
